Recognition of External Teacher Training Courses: This course will count for a total of 36 hours towards the EMI track of Taipei Medical University's Teacher Teaching Professional Certification (covering both required and elective credits).

This course is not included in the count of the 5 required sessions for the school-level EMI teaching community (as it is not a community course). However, it will be recognized similarly to the Oxford EMI Training online course for the EMI track hours of Taipei Medical University's Teacher Teaching Professional Certification.

2.We aim to promote the professional development of EMI teachers in higher education institutions through collaboration and to enhance the teaching outcomes of EMI courses through resource sharing and cooperation.

(1)EMI Teacher Training Course
- The course consists of four modules: EMI Teaching Environment (12 hours), EMI Teaching Methods (12 hours), EMI Cross-Cultural Communication (6 hours), and EMI Teaching Demonstration (6 hours), totaling 36 hours.
- Participants who complete the required 36 hours within the course period will be awarded a "Certificate of Completion" for the "EMI Teaching Enhancement Course" issued by the center. Those who do not meet the completion requirements will receive a certificate of attendance.
(2)Target Participants:
Full-time faculty members (including project-based faculty) at higher education institutions across the country who meet the following criteria:
- Teachers planning to offer EMI courses in the 113th academic year.
- Those who can participate in the teaching demonstration on December 7, 2024 (Saturday).
(3)Registration Period: From now until September 27 (Monday) at 16:00.
(4)Admission Announcement: October 8 (Tuesday).
(5)Course Period: September 19 (Thursday) to November 29 (Friday).
(6)Teaching Demonstration: December 7 (Saturday).
