Second BESTEP Outstanding Award Ceremony
The Ministry of Education has provided funding to the Language Training and Testing Center (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") to develop and administer the "BEST Test of English Proficiency," abbreviated as "BESTEP." The goal is to strengthen the English proficiency of university and college students in Taiwan, promoting a positive interaction between English teaching, learning, and assessment at higher education institutions, and to have a positive impact on English learning. To further encourage university and college students in Taiwan to improve their English proficiency, the Center established the "BESTEP Outstanding Award" in 2023 (112th year). Any candidate (limited to Republic of China nationals) who registers for the "BESTEP" and achieves CEFR B2 level in listening, reading, speaking, and writing tests within one year is eligible for the award.
