Best Test of English Proficiency
In conjunction with the "Bilingual Learning Program for College Students," the Ministry of Education subsidized the Language Training and Testing Center (LTTC) to develop and administer the Best Test of English Proficiency (BEST Test of English Proficiency), also known as the Best Test of English Proficiency (BESTEP).
[Test Features]
This is a new and more appropriate assessment tool for assessing English communication skills for college students in Taiwan.
It emphasizes assessing general academic English and English communication skills required for international academic and corporate workplace communication.
Aligned with the CEFR language proficiency framework, the test covers levels A-C, ensuring international comparability.
No level registration required, making it flexible and convenient.

Test Items: Choose one of the following: (1) Listening and Reading (2) Speaking and Writing (3) Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing Test (Free Registration)
Test Date: 2025.10.18 (Sat) Speaking and Writing Test
2025.11.22 (Sat) Listening and Reading Test
Test Location: Taipei Medical University Xinyi Campus (Exam venue will be notified after registration)
Registration Period: From now until 2025.09.08 (Mon) 12:00 PM
Registration Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs at Taipei Medical University

Please register using your TUH Medical account.
The BeStep English Test scores will be uploaded by the Language Center to the language certification management system and used as "Graduate and Undergraduate English Proficiency/Foreign Language Certification."
Students who have not yet reached graduation requirements can take this test for free.
Incomplete registration information or photos that do not meet the requirements will be considered ineligible.
